A Season Ends

We wrapped up our second season in  mid-October. We dipped our toes into the Pumpkin Patch pool this year and the water was pretty nice.  We plan to do it again next year and have lots of ideas on how to make it even better.

Though we closed to the public and stopped selling, the gardeners job is never over.  Outside, we are collecting seed, prepping beds, testing the soil, adding amendments, planting bulbs, and digging up bulbs that can't handle our super cold winters.  Inside, we are sorting seeds, ordering seeds, planning the garden layout for next year, studying new techniques and plant varieties, and soon we will be starting seeds all over again.
